Barefoot Resort (Resort Courses) -Love, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Barefoot Resort, Love Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Davis Love.
The Love Course offers a risk/reward design, with plenty of options off the tee and elevation change throughout. Celtic-style plantation ruins are the perfect backdrop for hole #4, a par 4, which will tempt long hitters to go for the green off the tee.
Measuring only 294 yards from the tips, #4 at The Love Course is the shortest par 4 on the Myrtle Beach golf scene. The fourth hole cries out to you to try and drive the green. If you miss, make sure you don’t find the large pot bunker about 30 yards short on the left side. The smart play might call for a layup off the tee, and a chip shot to the green. But, the lure of a birdie is hard to resist.

The Love Course at Barefoot is the best layout of the four resort courses. The layout is challenging, with a lot of water in play, giving you the feel of being a PGA tour professional. The conditions of the fairways and greens were far better than most courses I have ever played. The price was a little high, but in the end, well worth it. And the Presidential Suite at the Dye Villas.......speechless.
